About Amber Simmons (that’s me)

I’m not really from the 1940’s. And maybe I have the wrong decade. I obviously don’t look like this every day. But then again, most days I look homeless so I thought this was more appropriate.

I’m a recovering web developer, which is to say that while I still love web related work, I don’t do it full time anymore. My advice: don’t turn a hobby into a job if you can help it.

Aside from being a writer, which I’ve been since I was old enough to hold a pencil, I’m also a mom, a wife, a native Californian, and a great baker. I live in Austin, Texas.
